Fallback identity
A configured fallback identity supports system operation. If the main identity fails, the fallback identity is automatically registered on the PBX/at the provider.
*Note: This process starts automatically and may take a few minutes.
The fallback identity only has reduced functionality. For example, functions cannot be assigned to some function keys.
When a fallback identity is active, the message key flashes and informs the user about the current status.
When the main identity is restored, the fallback solution is automatically disabled and operation starts again, as it was before.
Each main identity can only have one fallback identity and vice versa. You cannot set up a chain or ring.
Requirements for use
The fallback identity must be configured on a different PBX or at a different provider.
