Button functions COMtrexx Next
The COMtrexx Next offers a button for proceeding service functions:
Restoring firmware
To restore the previous firmware (e.g. in case of problems after an update), proceed as follows:
Important: First read the steps to be taken.
Caution: Afterwards a restart is carried out automatically. All connections to/from the web server, all calls and data services are terminated. Unsaved data will be lost!1. Unplug the power supply unit.
2. Press and hold the button with a suitable tool (e.g. SIM card tool of the mobile phone).
3. Plug the network power supply unit in again. Keep the button pressed while doing so.
4. Release the button after 10 seconds.
The COMtrexx will reboot with the previous firmware.
Note: On a COMtrexx Next Rev. 2 (see type plate), the display shows ‘ALT’ as soon as the button can be released. The waiting time may be longer if a storage device is inserted.
