IPv6 address
IPv4 addresses comprise eight blocks with four digits or characters each that are separated by a colon, for example, 3001:00FF:ABC0:0EAC:0001:0000:0000:000F, or, abbreviated, 3001:FF:ABC0:EAC:1::F.
Thanks to the greater coding, IPv6 offers a greater number of available IP addresses than version 4 of the Internet protocol (IPv4).
