If you have exported contacts in *.csv format, e.g. from a COMmander 6000 that is using an older firmware version or from a different PBX, you can import the contact data in that file to All contacts . The contacts can then be assigned to one or several contact groups.
If the *.csv import originates from a previous phone book export, the system automatically assigns the contacts it contains to the Phone book version 1 . Contacts whose fields are identical to existing contacts will be overwritten. In all other cases a new contact will be created.
Requirements:
• For users: read access to at least one contact group
• A csv file saved on a data storage device
Note: The Iimport button is only available in All contacts view.
Note: The contacts are automatically assigned to the predefined standard contact groups.
Export of a contact group, an individual contact or all contacts in a csv file.
Requirements:
• For users: read access to at least one contact group
Important: Note the following legal notes. It might be that the contacts include the following legally especially protected components:
• Private and work address
• Private and work phone and fax numbers
• The birthday
• A photo of the person (in connection with the data backup)
• The electronic contact addresses (private and work), e. g. the e-mail address

Note: Before the contacts are being saved, all users of the PBX must be informed that these contents will be forwarded and about who will use the data received. It is essential to store the data securely and in accordance with legal requirements. If you want to make the contacts available to your specialised dealer or to the manufacturer for error analysis, you must make sure that the legal requirements are fulfilled.
