This PBX supports the operation of the Auerswald COMfortel SoftPhone 2.
COMfortel SoftPhone 2 trial licences
3 trial licences with a validity period of 30 days can be activated for the COMfortel SoftPhone 2.
If an outgoing mail server is set up, you will receive an e-mail 2 days before the trial licences expire.

In addition, a note appears in the configuration manager.
1. Requesting a voucher codeAuerswald Shop.
2. Activating the voucher code.
−Administration > Activation > Activation code for extended functions > Enter activation/voucher code
3. Save.
In the table of activated functions, the trial licences appear with a note of the remaining term.
4. Set up subscribers (see Configuration).
COMfortel SoftPhone 2
*Important: You need licences for the COMfortel SoftPhone 2. You can purchase these here: Auerswald Shop.
The COMfortel SoftPhone 2 is a multi-platform client for Windows, Mac OS, Android and iOS.
The COMfortel SoftPhone 2 is provisioned via the PBX.
The registration data for the COMfortel SoftPhone 2 can be sent to the user by e-mail.
Thanks to the proxy service, the COMfortel SoftPhone 2 is also available on the smartphone regardless of the location. No VPN connection is needed.

*Important: For the provisioning and proxy service, the PBX requires access to the Auerproxy server. Make sure that the address and port are reachable.

Configuration
Requirements:
•Enabled provisioning server (Subscriber (scr.) > IP provisioning > Settings > Provisioning server active)
•Activate COMfortel SoftPhone licences
−Administration > Activation
•Activate the proxy service to use the COMfortel SoftPhone 2.
−Administration > VoIP configuration > Proxy server for COMfortel SoftPhones > Use proxy
•Create and configure a new subscriber.
−Subscriber (scr.) > Phone numbers > New
−Add subscriber: Assign phone number
−Name: Assign name for the COMfortel SoftPhone 2
−Module / Port: VoIP
−Device type: COMfortel SoftPhone 2
−Provisioning file: Select a provisioning file, e.g. comfortel_softphone2_template.xml
*Note: The COMfortel SoftPhone 2 cannot be set up without assigning the provisioning file.
•Enter an e-mail address for sending the COMfortel SoftPhone 2 registration data.
−Subscriber (scr.) > Phone numbers > Configure > Basic settings > E-mail address: Enter e-mail address > Send e-mail

•Subscriber (scr.) > Properties > select subscriber > Basic settings > Display PIN and passwords: Password
•Subscriber (scr.) > Properties > select subscriber > VoIP settings > SIP user name
•Install Softphone on the device and register.
*The apps are installed via the stores available for the respective device (Microsoft Store, Google Play Store or Apple App Store).
